UNMATCHED EXPERTISE
Bee and Wasp Allergy Testing and Desensitisation
The Dermatology Service offers allergy testing and desensitisation for dogs and cats that have previously developed life-threatening anaphylactic reactions to bee and/or wasp stings. Similar to humans, bee and wasp desensitisation in animals is highly effective at reducing the severity of future reactions. The Dermatology Service also provides advice on and training in the use of an EpiPen® (adrenaline) and methods to reduce attraction and exposure of your pets to bees and wasps.
