The magic behind the freedom from pain.
Anaesthesia is the medical discipline with the focus of finding and utilising means to carry out surgery and medical procedures safely and without pain. Anaesthesia may be relatively simple from numbing the skin in preparation for a catheter to using combinations of drugs to cause unconsciousness in preparation for major surgery.
