What days are appointments available?

Appointments are available on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. The service is closed on public holidays and weekends.

How do I get an appointment?

If indicated, your vet will complete a referral form for your pet to see a Specialist Veterinary Dermatologist at WAVES. Upon receipt of this form, our reception team will contact you to schedule an appointment for you and your pet. Alternatively, the booking can be made by yourself or your vet however a referral is still required prior to the consultation.

Does my pet need to be fasted prior to the consultation?

In most cases, your pet should be fasted overnight just in case procedures need to be performed. We generally recommend that no food be provided from 8pm the night before. They should continue to have access to water ad lib.
