Dr Meng Siak is a Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in Veterinary Dermatology and a registered veterinary dermatologist in Australia.
Meng has special interests in antibiotic resistant bacterial skin and ear infections including methicillin resistant Staphylococcus pseudintermedius (MRSP). He published the first paper on methicillin resistant Staphylococcus pseudintermedius affecting dogs in Australia and continues to be fascinated by new developments in the world of MRSP. Other interests include management of allergic skin diseases, immune mediated skin diseases and complicated ear infections.
Meng is also a keen advocate for continued education and is the Oceania/Asia representative for Global Veterinary Dermatology Education Group (GVDEG), a non-profit charitable organisation that commits to improve knowledge and practice of veterinary dermatology in underserved areas around the world. http://gvdeg.org/about-gvdeg
