Diagnostic Imaging forms the basis of many of the investigations required by our other specialties. Diagnostic imaging involves the use of different imaging modalities to obtain a diagnosis, determine the extent of the disease, and monitor disease progression.

With any form of imaging modality, the quality of the image produced in addition to the experience of the veterinarian interpreting the images acquired is key to obtaining the right diagnosis for the patient.

Our diagnostic imaging capabilities are not only utilised to investigate and diagnose diseases of patients under the care of the WAVES veterinarians, but also extends to outpatients under the care of their regular veterinarian.
